No Tooele 72-Hour Release Feed
The Tooele County Sheriff offers a current inmate roster, not a rolling list of releases. The search accepts last and first name, displays a data-last-updated timestamp, and returns current roster details. It has no 72-hour choice, released status, release-date range, or past-custody archive. The page also gives no public promise that a former row remains visible after custody changes.
A Tooele County three-day inquiry must therefore be built from source records. The Sheriff can address the county jail exit. The court case can explain the legal authority. VINE may report a change event. UDC, BOP, or ICE may be necessary when the person moved into another system. The wider window helps organize the request, but it does not create an online feed that the Sheriff does not maintain.
Check Tooele 72-Hour Releases
Begin by writing the exact start and end of the three-day period. Include dates, times, and the applicable local time zone. That detail matters because "the last three days" changes each hour, while an agency can search a fixed interval. If one named person is the concern, add a date of birth, booking number, case number, or other known identifier.
- Search the current Sheriff roster and record its update timestamp. A current match means the public page still shows local custody.
- Call Tooele County Corrections at 435-277-4200 and ask whether a named person remains at the detention center.
- Inspect the Tooele Justice Court or Third District Court case for orders, bond activity, disposition, sentence, and later warrants.
- Check VINE for an alert or current agency status, then verify the event with the agency that supplied it.
- Use the Sheriff's GRAMA process to request existing release-log or release-sheet entries for the fixed 72-hour interval.
Ask for existing records, not a newly compiled list. Utah Code Section 63G-2-201 does not require an agency to create, summarize, or tailor a record it does not maintain. A narrow request for specific entries is more likely to identify the actual Tooele County release facts.
Tooele 72-Hour Release Fields
No public feed means there is no verified set of online release-list columns. The fields below separate what the live roster displays from what may be requested in an existing jail release record. Disclosure remains subject to GRAMA classification and redaction.
| Field | Meaning in a three-day inquiry |
|---|---|
| Data last updated | The timestamp attached to the current roster, not a promised refresh cadence. |
| Current roster identity | Last, first, middle, and detail controls for a current public match. |
| Booked date, charges, bonds | Current detail data that helps match the person but does not show release. |
| Actual release date and time | The requested official field that places an exit inside or outside the fixed interval. |
| Release disposition | The recorded route, such as bail, bond, court order, time served, or transfer. |
| Receiving custodian | The agency or destination after transfer, when that existing fact is public. |
The current roster does not display a booking number, release date, release type, projected release date, or photograph. Do not infer those values from a name vanishing between two searches. A durable answer comes from the release sheet, jail register, court event, or receiving-custodian record.
Tooele Weekend Release Lookback
A 72-hour lookback is useful when a possible Friday event is checked on Monday, or when the exact day is not known. It can also catch a court action and physical exit that fell on different dates. The Sheriff's rules say processing may take two to eight hours after the jail receives court paperwork. That delay can push the actual release beyond the time shown on a court entry.
No official Tooele County source states a weekend or holiday release schedule. None names a fixed release hour or exit door. The safe method is to ask Corrections when the paperwork arrived and whether the physical exit was completed, then request the actual release date and time. A three-day range should be expanded only when the known facts justify it, not because a generic jail schedule is assumed.
Note: A court order explains authority to release, while the Sheriff's record supplies the county jail's actual custody-change time.
Tooele Roster Release Gaps
The official roster entry page describes the web data as informational, unofficial, potentially out of date, and subordinate to the Sheriff's official record. A precise timestamp does not convert the site into real-time data. Nor does it show how long a row remains after a person leaves the building.
The live roster interface shows the limited current-custody fields captured below. Its lack of a release control is a central Tooele County finding, not a gap to fill with an unaffiliated service.
Use the screenshot to identify the official interface, then read the live timestamp at the time of the check. A cached old booking page or a commercial recent-bookings list may omit transfers and later dispositions. It should not be labeled as a Tooele County release record.
Request Tooele Three-Day Release Records
The Sheriff's request-forms page links the official GRAMA form. Identify the exact 72-hour interval and ask for existing release-log entries, jail-register entries, or release sheets within it. For one person, provide the full booked name, aliases, date of birth, booking or case number if known, and the relevant booking date.
A useful description asks for the actual release date and time, releasing authority, release type or disposition, bond or bail status, and any public transfer or receiving-agency field. The office may redact protected parts and need not create a spreadsheet. Utah's ordinary GRAMA response period is no later than ten business days unless a valid extraordinary circumstance applies, so this route provides a record rather than an instant alert.
Keep the county request tied to the county jail's part of the timeline. A court order, VINE notice, or receiving-agency entry can be attached as a clue, but the Sheriff can disclose only records it keeps. If the response identifies UDC, another jail, the U.S. Marshals Service, or ICE as the receiving custodian, continue with that office. Asking the Sheriff to certify a later event in someone else's custody would blur two distinct records.
A Tooele County denial should describe the withheld record or portion, cite the legal basis, identify the appeal right, and give the appeal deadline and official. Request a written classification decision if the exact release field is withheld. Public parts may still be separated from private identifiers, medical facts, investigative content, victim information, or protected security details.

Match Tooele Release Systems
A person released from ordinary Tooele County jail custody is confirmed by the Sheriff's release entry. A UDC prisoner in a contract bed follows state rules instead. UDC says such prisoners almost always travel to the Utah State Correctional Facility for release processing. Leaving the Tooele building can therefore be a transfer within state custody.
If the record shows a federal pickup, use the receiving federal system. The BOP locator serves sentenced federal prisoners, while a pretrial U.S. Marshals case may require the federal docket. ICE's locator addresses immigration detention and some recent releases. For a same-day focus, use the Tooele County 24-Hour Releases workflow. For one known name, the home page provides the broader county, state, court, VINE, and federal search chain.
VINE is useful as an alert, not as a certified release document. Its update timing depends on the reporting agency, and an absent result proves nothing by itself. When two sources disagree, use the responsible custodian's official record for that part of the chain: Sheriff for the Tooele jail, UDC for prison or state supervision, the Board for a parole order, the court for judicial action, and the federal agency for federal custody.
| Last known custody | Primary confirmation |
|---|---|
| Tooele County jail | Sheriff release entry and related court record |
| UDC custody | UDC Offender Search, Board order, and UDC/VINE event |
| Federal or ICE custody | BOP, federal docket or USMS, or ICE ODLS as appropriate |
