Terms & Conditions

These terms govern access to and use of Tooele County Released Inmates. By continuing to use the site, a visitor agrees to these conditions and all limits stated here. Anyone who does not accept them should stop using the site.

This privately owned site has no affiliation with a government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offers an FCRA-covered service for credit, employment, insurance, or tenant screening. The site is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Purpose and Status

Tooele County Released Inmates is a private reference that points readers to Tooele County and Utah custody, release, court, and supervision resources. It holds no official records and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, file a request for a visitor, or change a government entry. Some pages connect users to outside research tools that set their own terms and prices.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the site lawfully and in a way that does not harm other people or interfere with the service. A user agrees not to:

  • Break any local, state, federal, or international law.
  • Use information to stalk, harass, threaten, deceive, or injure someone.
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on site content.
  • Attempt access to accounts, servers, data, or systems without authorization.
  • Operate bots, scrapers, or other automated extraction tools.
  • Overload, disrupt, damage, or impair access for others.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its advertising and search partners do not offer screening through this site. A user agrees not to apply site content to:

  • Hiring, discipline, promotion, or termination decisions.
  • Tenant selection or any housing decision.
  • Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing.
  • Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility.
  • Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Links to Other Services

Outbound links may lead to Sheriff and corrections records, government portals, courts, legal resources, or private search services. Their operators control their content, privacy practices, terms, and availability. This site does not endorse or accept responsibility for an outside service merely because a link is provided. Review the destination's terms before submitting information.

Service Provided As Is

The site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty, express or implied, is made concerning:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or current state of information.
  • Continuous or uninterrupted access.
  • The absence of errors, bugs, or security weaknesses.
  • The scope or quality of a partner's search results.

Custody, release, supervision, and public-record status can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement from the Tooele County Sheriff, UDC, a court, or any other government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site, its owners, and contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from access, use, inability to use, reliance on content, or an outside service.

User Indemnification

A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the site, its owners, and its contributors harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's conduct, misuse of information, or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Material

Unless another owner is identified, the site's text, graphics, logo, arrangement, and code belong to Tooele County Released Inmates or its content partners. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, altered, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

Changes to These Terms

These conditions may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when posted. Continued use after publication means the visitor accepts the revised terms.

Access May Be Revoked

Access may be restricted, suspended, or ended at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice, including when conduct threatens the service or violates these conditions.

Utah Governing Law

Utah law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Utah.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in force. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as necessary to make it enforceable.
